Newburgh Priory at the end of August is always a mecca for keen plant hunters and gardeners alike. Its the ideal time to be filling your gardens with late summer and autumn colour and for planning your colour schemes and designs for the following year.
As always we have the most amazing collections of plants on sale from some of the best Yorkshire and Northern plant nurseries. Not only is this the ideal time of the year to be planting up for next year, but its a beautiful place to visit.
We open from 11am – 4pm, the admission includes access to over 40 acres of grounds, gardens, water gardens, woods and walled garden. Dogs are more than welcome throughout the estate.
Homemade teas, cakes, sandwiches and biscuits will be served within the Refectory kitchen and the House is open for visitors at a small extra charge.
