A brand new venue in Staffordshire for us this year – and what a beautiful place it is too. I visited this wonderful house through the HHA (Historic Houses Association) several years ago and again visited it in September this year as part of my “investigations” on Capability Brown. The gardens stretch around the Hall and in May the woodland and avenues will be awash with bluebells and other native wild flowers.
For those of you who like a walk – please, I beg you, walk down to the most amazing Capability Brown lake and bridges …. and also make your way to the recently restored (and magnificent) Home Farm and buildings. You won’t be disappointed.
Just waiting for the plant nurseries to confirm they will be attending the day and we’re set for another magnificent day out.
