I love this beautiful house and it’s delightful Spring garden. Renowned for its spring flowering shrubs and plants, then later for its very famous and extremely rare Tulip Sylvestria and then its bluebells, Holme Pierrepont Hall continues to enchant everyone who visits it. You might have seen it on Chris Beardshaw’s Great British Garden Revival in 2016.
A mere 4 miles from the centre of Nottingham, but tucked away in glorious countryside just past the National Watersports Centre (and for those of you who don’t know where this magical house is, just follow their brown signs … and then continue for another 2 miles).
We kick off the 2017 season at Holme Pierrepont Hall as we have for so many years I’ve lost count, but we have some wonderful plant nurseries who support the event and a very enthusiastic collection of plant hunters! Add in delicious food and hot drinks, a chance to explore the gardens and woodland, and its a great day out.
