A wonderful place to visit at any time of the year but Spring promises so much and with over 40 acres of gardens and grounds to explore, you know it will be a great day out for all, including your dog.
The fair takes place on the Northern lawns looking down to the lake and the White Horse at Kilburn beyond and is always popular with the individual plant nurseries and specialists who attend. Home made yummy cakes and lovely sandwiches and hot quiches will be on sale throughout the day in the Priory Refectory Kitchen and for those of you who haven’t visited the Priory before, may I suggest a visit to the House too. Fascinating history and a delightful home.
Over 22 plant specialists and garden accessory stands will be in attendance so bring lots of money so you won’t be disappointed. Amongst the nurseries will be Fayrefield Horticulture & Design, Through The Garden Gate, Red Dial Nurseries, The Cleveland group of the Alpine Garden Society, Seeds to Sow, Ribblesdale Nurseries, Gatekeeper Nursery, Plantazia, The Herb Nursery, Lawn Hero, Garden Blooms, Dark Star Plants, Roanne Nurseries, Northern Ark Nursery, Easiworks (Autism Plus), Cottage Garden Plants and Morton Nurseries.
Gardening with Wildlife will be on hand for all your bug, hedgehog and bird homes as will Cornerstone Housing who create rustic garden furniture including arches, tables and benches and seating. Mrs B’s Kitchen will also be returning with a wide selection of garden jams, chutneys and other delights.
