A brand new venue just outside Pickering for Flower Power Fairs this year. Cedarbarn Farmshop has been open for many years and offers locally sourced food, drinks and garden products. They also have a wonderful tea room/cafe too so make sure you visit it.
This event is to help Karl Avison, the owner, raise over £10,000 for Macmillan Nurses. He’s well on the way with Race Nights, Fashion Shows, Dinners, and other events but I’d be so proud if my Flower Power Fairs customers will contribute too. If you wish to give money via the internet, visit his JUST GIVING page. Otherwise, bring your donations to the plant fair.
On Saturday 15 June Karl will be taking part in a charity race at York Racecourse and has been out “on the gallops” each morning honing his skills. I can’t wait to watch the race and to see how he fares.
The fair will be placed beside the farmshop and the delightful miniature railway and again I have a great selection of plant nurseries attending.
We open from 11.00am and admission is free to all. Dogs welcome outside but not in the shop or cafe and for those of you who fancy a little trip around the area, try the miniature railway!
