Some years ago one of my plant specialists used to organise the very popular plant fair here but due to family commitments, she had to stop. With her encouragement and enthusiasm, she persuaded me to approach Salmesbury Hall to see if they’d like to have another plant fair … and they said yes!
So grateful thanks to Sue Gillon from Meadowview Nursery – and she will also be attending the fair with her wonderful selection of herbaceous plants and shrubs.
Salmesbury Hall isn’t far from the M6 motorway, junction and as you can see from the imagine, its a beautiful timber framed building of great character and charm. You will be able to wander around the gardens, visit the old house, enjoy the cafe and at the top end of the car park, visit the Bee Centre to watch the busy bees hard at work and purchase some wonderful honey and waxed based products (check out their honey candles).
We open 11.00am – 4.00pm, free parking and admission to the gardens, Hall and fair is £2.00. Children are free. Dogs allowed in the gardens.
