HOLKER HALL – Bank Holiday Sunday 25 August 2019

We return to Holker Hall at the end of August for the late summer plant fair.

The plant fair is always held at the top of the car park beside the Café courtyard and features many of the North’s top plant growers and specialists including some from Scotland so you can be assured that your plants will definitely grow in your gardens as they are all hardy and resistant to cold weather and rain!

Despite having the most wonderful summer last year, the Lake District decided that Bank Holiday Sunday would be a great day for rain and cold winds.  We froze but thank you to the hardy visitors who braved the weather and came and bought lots of quality plants at great prices.  Don’t forget these are all locally grown and grown by the experts who sell them.

This was August 2018!

We offer free entry to the plant fair and there is usually a produce market held within the café courtyard too.  Normal admission to the gardens and Hall apply.

The Producers’ Market will be in the cafe forecourt so please don’t forget to BRING CASH as many of the stands do not have debit card facilities.  So don’t be disappointed – bring “proper” money with you!

  • Free admission for all.  Dogs welcome in the fair but not in the gardens.
  • Open from 10.30am – 4pm.  Free parking.
  • Holker Hall & Gardens, Cark in Cartmel, Cumbria LA11 7PL
