COVERHAM ABBEY – Sunday 26 July 2020

We’re back! We took a break in 2019 as Mr & Mrs Corner were busy restoring and working on their wonderful period barns and stables so I for one can’t wait to see the changes they have made.

2018 wasn’t very kind to us, weather wise. It was the first day of the rain after that wonderful long hot summer. I was cursing – the rain could have held off until Monday morning, but no, we had rain all day long and it was chilly.

This beautiful old Abbey and its magical gardens is privately owned and only opened for this one day so please do come along and support us. All the proceeds will be for charity (yet to be announced) and I’ll let you know who is attending the fair next year.

Admission £5.00 (proceeds to charity) and as always there will be wonderful home made refreshments served all day. And you have to visit the toilets! With designs from Thomas Crapper, a Yorkshireman, you will be amazed and enthralled.

See you there!
